One of my favourite places to walk with or without my dogs. Sometimes busy but other times you are totally alone in a tranquil setting. View from the top is worth the walk up the 35 metre hill. Picnic tables at top for summer months but wear warm clothing on windy days or get a Mersey chill.
Lovely place to go for a quiet walk and take in the sights of the Mersey and Liverpool from a distance. Well maintained paths and clearly signposted. Plenty of free parking. Very enjoyable.
Yes, Yes and thrice more YES!!! It's amazing how some clever thought and planning can transform a desolate area into a tranquil vista. Mind you, a lot of the trees there do look like they've been ingesting a tad too much toxic waste for their liking, but apart from that the place is mellow, lush and scally-free.
Lots of autumn foliage and brilliant berries in the afternoon sunshine, with views of the Mersey and Liverpool waterfront. Popular with dog walkers. Great for a family stroll.
Great views of Liverpool, you can see both Cathedrals from the summit. Good gravel pathways that are pushchair friendly. Worth a visit if in the area.
