The local council are trying to cut down wonderful old trees in this park. It's a crime that they spend more felling trees than planting new ones.

Beautiful park with plenty of benches to sit and watch the ducks and geese and other wildlife. A separate park area for children with swings slides etc. Picnic benches and large green area for playing football etc. Over the other side of the pond they have a bowling green. There are tennis courts further away, not visible from the pond area, accessible via a bridge.

Lovely park. There is a large lake with lots of ducks/ birds to give seed/corn to, also a large play area and a enclosed football pitch, tennis courts. Or you could enjoy a walk along parts of the Wirral way that runs through the park.

Lovely park, well maintained. Lovely playground, good mix of equipment suitable for all ages, and a large safe space to run about. Good size pond perfect for feeding the ducks and geese. Lots of lovely wooden sculptures hidden, perfect for exploring.Ashton Park is very popular for the Wirral Rocks game, we often find rocks hidden, which we then rehide in the park. The Waverly nearby sell packs of duck food for 20p. There is a small kiosk near the bowling green open on weekend afternoons that sells ice lollies and duck food.

Fantastic park with football cage, basketball hoops. The park also has tennis courts, two bowling greens, children's play area with swings, slides and climbing pyramid. There's also a small lake where you can find Canada geese and Moorhens to name but a few. A small kiosk serves hot and cold refreshments, and you can even buy food to feed the resident ducks.
