I just stopped to use the Polar Rapid charger. Staff are friendly and they make a nice coffee. If using the charger please remember to register your vehicle at reception.
Beautiful location some wear and tare issues but the staff were exceptional and extremely friendly breakfast buffet was limited but enough to satisfy most people
Well priced & quiet rooms. Hoylake doesn't have a lot of choice for accomodation, so thankfully this place is pretty good. Availability of some things at breakfast can be erratic, so you're best getting down there early.
Went here this morning for breakfast, meeting up with family staying here! Breakfast was dire! No vegetarian option! Cooked option consisted of scrambled egg, tough bacon, sausage & beans! Continental option was a croissant or a tiny muffin, although there was a plethora of jams for toast, which in my opinion would have been the tastier option, or McDonald's, as the coffee is far better there as well.
Overall the hotel is well appointed with good standards of house keeping, however I was unfortunately left with a room that had no functioning TV, despite the best efforts of the young receptionist to fix it.On a positive note the young receptionist I afore mentioned - Courtney was incredibly helpful and nothing seemed to phase her. I was honestly impressed by the way she handled each of the issues I raised (not all the fault of the hotel). If you give out awards for employee of the month I nominate her. A breath of fresh air. Thank you Courtney for all your hard work and commitment to your role.
