Nice place to have do allso the food his good as well
Nice building but had to move dirty dishes from a table before we could sit down. Ordered food. Time it took to arrive was good but presentation was certainly lacking. No condiments, napkins or cutlery available so I had to go wandering around to find some while my food was going cold. Surf & Turf... dry chicken and two tiny pieces of over cooked grizzle ( supposed to be steak) had been thrown on a plate with some stale chips. The scampi was nice tho. Don't think we will be returning. Could accept some issues if the place was busy but it really wasn't.
Friendly local pub with excellent food menu. Top value for money
The room was clean, had a good sized tv and the bed was super comfy. Shower pressure was a bit disappointing but was hot. The pub has a really good food menu ans some well priced food challenges for big eaters. The location and building was very nice, situated in a historic part of town. All in all a good stay.
The staff were really good, the first room was clean and comfortable, but the second, though similar, was above the function room. The loud music was too much, even for a music lover like me! If you want to stay here, just ask them for a room that isn't above the function room if it's the weekend. Do that and you'll have a decent stay.
