Absolutely horiffic! Came out of Hamilton square tonight to jump in the only can available around 8pm to see the hack blocking in another taxi and hurling abuse at the driver. Quickly decides to book privately elsewhere and glad I did. Wouldn't touch a Hackney or order one now with the attitude of your drivers!
Website says download the Eye Cab app from Google play but no such app exists - not promising!
Very good service arived within 5 mins and nice helpfull driver lifted my shopping into my car too
I wouldn't give any stars at all for this taxi firm booked a hackney for me and a friend to go home she is in a wheelchair I was also with my two children 4 and 1 yr old the cab driver failed to even out the wheelchair in correctly with seat belts and her wheelchair tipped in the cab if it wasn't for me holding it aswell as my one yr old son! He then pulled over after tesco roundabout and was muttering to himself he must be going mad and something about the boot so he checked n got back in muttering we found this very odd as the boot wasn't even open. He dropped me and my children off and pulled the handbrake at least 5 times on the hill in my road and the cab was still juddering backwards down the hill to which my daughter got hysterical and upset over thinking we where going to crash he got out the cab and was muttering again to himself while fighting to get my sons folded pushchair out the cab to which he made all the kids sweets fall on the floor!!! My daughter still hysterical we as being calmed by my friend while I out my son in his pushchair, she hasn't got over this this morning and asked me if y friend got home okay and has been fretful since she is now frightened o even get into another taxi and to be fair older cabs like this shouldn't be on the road I don't think it was roadworthy at all and the driver certainly wasn't with it either and shouldn't be on the road to put my friend safety and me and my kids safety at risk by not even fitting her into the wheel chair seatbelt Inside the cab I think is disgusting yet they have seatbelt notices by law slapped all over the cab my friend was unable to do this her self and I don't know myself how to fit it he should have fitted it correctly safe to say I will not be using this taxi service again!!! When I phoned up the cab firm I informed them that there was a wheelchair and a pushchair and as soon as he seen my friend in the wheelchair he moaned at us saying he wasn't informed there was a wheelchair and he shouldn't be doing this kind of thing. This comment of his made us feel awkward and uncomfortable. He had a disgusting attitude!!!!
