Tried to have a parcel delivered there. Even after calling ahead the "post master" rejected the parcel because of the size. I wouldn't have minded if the attitude of the person I spoke to ( the Postmaster) was less rude and arrogant. Small post offices should be customer service focussed not rude. The local post office should be a community asset to be utilised and supported. I won't be doing either from now on. If you don't want to support the deliver to your nearest post office service from Parcelforce, don't bother but don't complain when the parcels are not small packets. The parcel rejected wasn't exactly a sofa or fridge freezer, it was two bike tyres. I do have to say though that in my experience of using the post office counters here the ladies are friendly and polite, a lesson their boss could learn from.
