Haven't stayed here but just visited friends for the day and I wasn't disappointed. A great location with some wonderful views.Friendly helpful staff and a good family nightclub with drinks at competitive prices. A good location if travelling to Wales Chester or Liverpool. Well worth a visit and the caravan park is kept in tip top condition.
A good resting place on the Wirral Way for cyclists and walkers.Has a Cafe and lots of places with benches to veiw accros the river Dee to the Welsh coast.Two ponds with lots of life flourishing, not unusual to be pestered by Dragonfly's at that time of year.
I go down the Wirral Way almost everyday. It's perfect for parking up..although there is a small charge..and starting a good walk or bike ride and of course there is the visitors centre where toilets and drink machine available..Beautiful place well worth visiting.x
A great site to stay if you are keen on cycling or walking. There are numerous routes from the site to suit everyone and the Wirral has much to offer that is unnexpected but interesting. Liverpool is within easy access if you like that sort of thing.
My partner ,myself and dog Hattie have just returned from a lovely weekend in our motorhome, We have not visited the site since last year and have seen a big improvement in the condition of the site overall. The wardens are doing a great job , Keeping it clean and tidy,. Yes, the toilet block needs up dating, the only way is to knock down and start again . We shall still visit as the area is beautiful , and always made to feel welcome. Thank you again ,will see you again soon.
