Marvellous gallery. Lovely range of trails for kids to do. Very tasty cake in the cafe and proper loose leaf tea. Highly recommend.
A superb gallery full of quality items which are well displayed. Interesting content too, with world wide exhibits. Set within stunning rural/urban grounds.
Re-discovered this gem last Autumn & returned yesterday.It is well worth a visit and I especially like the Asian exhibition. The Salambo statue seems to get a lot of attention so I am not alone. Always, meant to read Flauberts book of same name.The cafe down stairs is welcoming and over priced in the traditional British style.Please visit, you will always find something interesting to see. Good for kids too.
Beautiful gallery and it caters nicely to a younger age too. Lady Lever gallery is in a beautiful setting of Port Sunlight village. The gallery is very nicely laid out and very presentable. They have little area dotted around to entertain children as you peruse. Downstairs they also have a arts and crafts room which is open during school holidays and half term. Its a great little space to take younger kids from 1 up to about 10. They have dress up areas, puzzles and toys, they also have drawing sessions that change style. There is a cafe downstairs too which does have disabled access, if required.
Fabulous building in its own right. Generosity abounds from the 'Port Sunlight' village throughout the Gallery. Excellent facilities for children, including dressing up areas designed to complement current exhibitions. Quentin Blake and his drawings are celebrated in his exhibition 'Quentin Blake and John Yeoman: 50 years of children's books'. Ends 3rd March 2019. Always exceptional. Versatile community activities and events.
